A conversation with Tite Curet-Alonso, the legendary Puerto Rican composer, musicologist and journalist. Curet-Alonso has written more than 2,000 compositions, many of them recorded by singers such as Tito Rodriguez, Celia Cruz, Ruben Blades, Willie Colon, La Lupe, Cheo Feliciano, Hector Lavoe and others. Considered one of the greatest Latin American composers, he is currently working toward publication of a bilingual book of essays entitled "La Vida Misma."
