OPERATION SUCCESS. Hollywood screenwriter Noel Quiñones has launched a project to encourage young Latino teenagers to change their view about education in five Spanish-speaking countries. "Operación Exito" is a live online competition on math and science for high school students. Participants in these educational games win "adventure prizes." Test scores are reported to have improved in Puerto Rico's high schools as an outcome of this project.
